Nominations Are Now Being Accepted!

Thinking about running for office, or have someone in mind you'd like to propose as a candidate? Great! You've come to the right place. Nominations are now being accepted (until November 30, 2011) for the Silver Spring Chapter Elections, which will be held during our monthly Chapter meeting on December 14, 2011. Positions open for election are those of President, Secretary & Treasurer, VP of Finance, VP of Technology, and two Director-at-Large positions.

If you wish to nominate yourself for a position, please complete the Indication of Interest form, save the form to your desktop, and return it via email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the subject heading "Self Nomination".

 

If you wish to propose someone other than yourself as a candidate, please send an email message to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the subject line "Candidate Nomination", and indicate the name of the proposed candidate in the body of the email (in this case, you don't need to fill out the Indication of Interest form). Upon receipt, the Nominating Committee will take the proper steps to contact the proposed candidate and confirm that individual's interest in running for office.

Election Details

Elections will be held at our Annual Meeting on Wednesday evening, December 14, 2011.

Nominations will close at 11:59 PM on November 30, 2011. All terms are two years in length.

Officers to be elected:

  • President
  • Secretary & Treasurer
  • Vice-President - Finance
  • Vice-President - Technology
  • Director-at-Large (2 openings)
